Practice Philosophy
Optimal health is the primary goal of the practice of holistic health and medicine. It is the conscious pursuit of the highest level of functioning and balance of the physical, environmental, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of human experience, resulting in a dynamic state of being fully alive. This creates a condition of well-being regardless of the presence or absence of disease. This is the pursuit of health creation.
Traditional Oriental Medicine is based on a holistic understanding of the body and involves multiple techniques of natural healing. These may include Acupuncture, Shiatsu, Acupressure and Manipulation, Cupping and Moxibustion as well as advice on diet, stretching and general lifestyle.
My mission as a private practitioner includes all approaches tailored to the needs of each individual patient. Thanks to careful observation and manual diagnostics, I assess the condition of each patient, and then I work on relieving tension and improving balance and well-being. Applying pressure with the help of arms and elbows stimulates healing, as does the insertion of fine needles at certain points. Special cups and moxibustion are also used to improve blood circulation.
I seek to help my patients recognize where they may be out of balance in order to ease pain, bring peace and restore harmony to both their physical and mental health.
